Looks like Nikon reduced the price to $599.95, and several retailers are now listing it for under $500.

It's an excellent camera. I bought one at the reduced price for a recent trip to Venice. Very happy with the results.

It's not just that Fuji doesn't offer stabilization on this lens - it's that, at present, Fuji doesn't offer stabilization for primes, at all. Meanwhile, every μ4/3 prime is stabilized on my OM-D.

Seriously, the Ricoh GR is a much much better camera offering similar image quality.

at 5:30 Wednesday, the B&H price for the Nikon Coolpix A is now $599.
