I'm pleased and proud to report that it will be a second "father and son" image from Paul Caponigro, one of the greatest American large-format photographers of the second half of the 20th century, and his son John Paul Caponigro, long known and widely collected as an early and devoted pioneer of digital imaging. Both are well known as master printers in their different chosen media. Father and son collaborated on the selection of the paired images, which are printed together on a single sheet by John Paul and signed by both photographers.
The Caponigros' first offer here was extremely popular, selling well over 100 prints. Although the price is expensive for one of our sales, it is by quite a large margin the cheapest way to acquire signed original prints by either of these renowned fine-art photographers. Their first effort for us was a thing of beauty and remains one of my favorites of all our print offers (as well as the only one of our print offer prints to be selected for the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institution).

How about Harry Callahan's "Water's Edge"? To my knowledge it is out of print. This is one of my all time favorite photography books.

Full of fantastically beautiful early Caponigro images, but printed on a soft, dull paper which fails to capture the quality of his prints.
