Every now and then a regular TOP reader gets attention from the outside world, and I feel a totally unwarranted sense of pride and connection! This has been out for nearly a year now, and I'm just now catching up to it, thanks to my friend Barb H. Last September, Kristine Hinrichs was the subject of a feature on the statewide Spectrum News 1 in Wisconsin. The two minute feature, reported by Megan Marshall, shows her working before dawn by the lakefront. A retired city worker and former marathoner, Kristine has been sharing a PAD (photo a day) project of Milwaukee on social media for 14 years. (Here's her IG account.) She's also a longtime commenter on TOP, with 73 comments logged since 2014, many of them "Featured." Congratulations Kristine! We're proud.

Featured Comments from:
Kenneth Tanaka: "Excellent profile...and excellent work, Kristine! Indeed, Milwaukee is full of lens-ready scenes and subjects. Bravo!"
John Krumm: "Love that. Amazing persistence too. I glanced at her Instagram and enjoyed the variety, with some real classic shots in there. Of course I was trying to identify her camera, being a nerd. Looks like one of the pro level OM System cameras, I think."
Kristine Hinrichs: "WOW! Thanks for the feature! Imagine my surprise seeing my own face. Approaching 5,200 days straight. This explains the sudden interest in my Instagram feed."
Much respect, being an early riser is something I've deferred to the next lifetime...

In response to John Krumm - I’m using the OM1 mkii currently (it may have been mki at that time) + OM3.
