You should consider the subscription model being introduced at The Luminous Landscape. More work, but you eliminate the cash flow problem and you wouldn't have to cry so much.

I understand the Amazon ordering process, is B&H the same? I'm going to place an order in the next few days of stuff that is in my wish list there. If I go to the B&H website via your link and order from my wish list do you get a cut? Or is better for me to go via your link and find the items I want on the B&H site, put in my cart and complete the order then? I enjoy your site and am happy to see some of my order money go your way. Some things I like about your site are that you are a professionally trained writer, and also that you are honest about stuff (e.g. camera loans, behind the scenes industry stuff etc). As someone else wrote, I don't mind if you remind us more often to buy via your links, as it's an easy thing to overlook in the heat of buying some desirable item.

Hi Mike,

I you do have a great site. Good job!
If you put a link to Amazon Japan, I would buy all stuff through it.
I live in Kyoto and use Amazon Japan all of the time.

Just a suggestion.
Cheers!
Paul

Mike, hopefully my habit of linking to amazon through TOP has earned you some money! I very much appreciate the content of this site and hope I've contributed my share.
